Transition From Horse to Automobile plus WW2 Canadian Cree Code Talkers

Some of the changes brought about by the early transition from horse and buggy to motor vehicles. Plus, Canada's secret weapon in WW2 - the Cree code talkers.

Show notes

This week, Kate talks about what happens in a small town when new fangled automobiles start to replace the tried and true horse and buggy - and the effect when they have to share the road. Plus, Paul talks about when Canada's Indigenous people volunteer and enlist in the Canadian military during WW2, and how a select group sign-up for an elite group - Canada's Cree Code Talkers - and why so little is still known about them today.
