It's the early 1900's. Where do you stay if you're looking for temporary accommodations in a small rural town? Plus, it's 1775, the US colonies are in rebellion - and the Americans invade Canada!
This week, Kate talks about Haliburton village in the early 1900's. It's a small pioneer town with limited accommodations. But where do temporary workers and visitors stay when they don't have a place of their own? Plus, it's the 1700's and the 13 colonies in the US are in rebellion against Britain. Paul talks about why an American army invaded Canada - their neighbours to the north - in 1775 trying to tempt Canadians to rise up and join their cause. Spoiler alert - it didn't work out well.
