This week, Kate talks about an iconic building in Haliburton County's village of Minden - the Rockcliffe Tavern. Built in 1903 it's had a number of owners, the building has changed over time and it's use has evolved over the generations from a hotel to a small town tavern. And now it has new owners! Plus, Paul talks about the tragic sinking of the SS Atlantic off the coast of Nova Scotia in 1873 with the loss of at least 535 lives. The Atlantic was a luxury ocean liner owned by the White Star Line - the future owner of the SS Titanic that sank almost exactly 39 years later in 1912.
