Historic Canada Day plus Canada and the Cuban Missile Crisis

This week, Kate talks about how Canada Day was celebrated in the late 1800's in Haliburton County.....just what exactly was the 'jumping in socks' contest? Plus, Paul talks about Canada response and involvement in the Cuban Missile Crisis. It was a tough time for US-Canada foreign relations - partly because Canadian Prime Minster John Diefenbaker and US President John F. Kennedy were not the best of friends.
