Ebenezer Hunter of Eagle Lake plus Canadian Inventors of the Light Bulb

Show notes

This week Kate talks about Ebenezer Hunter who emigrated from Scotland and eventually settled on Eagle Lake in the 1890's. And built a somewhat imposing - for the times - 3 story home. Plus Paul talks about Henry Woodward and Mathew Evans - 2 gentlemen inventors from Toronto who patented an incandescent light bulb in 1874. They never received the credit they deserved. Their patent was bought by Thomas Edison who used it to create his version of an incandescent light bulb years later.
